Our Story

Our story began with a hairdresser that needed to grow. Realizing what was missing in all the years being behind the chair, she decided to formulate what she was looking for.There were so many choices but none that delivered. Keeping it simple, she started with 3 products.3 amazing products that deliver beautiful ,healthy, outstanding hair.

Brutus and Butch needed another reason to exist. The company wanted to give back to a community that has been instrumental in her field. She felt all people needed to know their value and place in the world. Brutus and Butch gives back a portion of their proceeds to an important contributor in the hair care industry. The LGBTQ community. The company's tagline "because we are who we are" says it all. This profound tagline represents all of us as human beings.

As we aspire to launch through our website and soon professional salons, we remain true for the time being to our 3  amazing  products. Clean shampoo with Lavender and Indonesian Essential Oils, Clean conditioner with botanical and Indonesian Oils, and Gembira Oil Elixir Vitae.
